Dr. Aaron Kindsvatter, a knowledgeable and compassionate therapist.

I provide compassionate and depth oriented therapy for couples with concerns about sex, infidelity, increasing turmoil, decreasing intimacy and communication difficulties. I see individuals for concerns about romantic and family relationships, and for concerns about panic attacks, generalized anxiety and social anxiety. I see young adults who are feeling lost and that are having difficulty moving towards independence.

How Much Does Psychotherapy Cost?

Individual sessions cost $200. Sessions are available on a weekly, bi-weekly, and monthly schedule. The time that people spend in therapy varies widely depending on their personal histories and circumstances. However, robust literature shows that 50% of people experience therapeutic change by 8 sessions and 75% by 26 sessions. Eighty-five percent of people who seek therapy benefit from it.

Couples sessions costs $250.  Sessions are available on a weekly, bi-weekly, and monthly schedule. The time that couples spend in couples therapy varies widely depending on the personal histories of each person and the nature of the difficulty being experienced. Overall, couples psychotherapy tends to be of shorter duration than individual psychotherapy, ranging from 8-20 sessions. Expenses for couples psychotherapy are usually on par with what one would expect to pay for a new piece of good quality furniture.

Most private insurances will reimburse you for a portion of what you spend on psychotherapy. Reimbursement rates differ depending on the plan that you have. To find out more, contact your insurance company and inquire as to how they reimburse for out-of-network providers.
